ABS-CBN is a major commercial television network in the Philippines. It is the oldest and the leading television network in the country. It is a unit of the media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation. 

It was launched on 23 October 1953 under the name Alto Broadcasting System, and is among the first commercial television networks in Asia. Its headquarters are in Quezon City with regional offices and news bureaus in over 25 provincial areas throughout the country.
